Winnie is a tango dancer, educator, and a recent but influential figure in the world of tango. She excels in playing the piano and bandoneon, and her insightful teaching injects new approaches and energy into tango music and dance.
They will be accompanied by the Los Angeles Tipica, a full tango orchestra making their highly anticipated debut. This Los Angeles-born project comprises eleven musicians, including four bandoneons, a violin, a piano, and bass players. Cameron Voloshin, an accomplished dancer, computer scientist, pianist, and bandoneon player, leads the orchestra.
